The FIFO Research Project is a platform to collate and share my findings as I research into the FIFO family.

As a Documentary Filmmaker, Educator and Researcher and Writer I am investigating  what impact the FIFO workplace is having on the Australian family. In my research I will be reading widely, talking excessively and thinking deeply about what I find and what I hear from all members of the FIFO family and the numerous professional who have made FIFO their area of interest both personally and professionally.

I will post my findings and convey my thoughts regularly as a way of recording and sharing ideas, reports, articles and thought in the hope that at least one person gets something out of each idea. My goal is to share information that is truthful, helpful and most of all relevant to the FIFO discussion.
